My company and lawyer refuse to talk to me or email me back.
I sent my completed package to the lawyer 2 weeks back, and I have not heard back from him.
The initial draft needs to be sent back by the lawyer for signatures and then the file can go out.
How do I hadle the situation?

The big question is that why the so called "IV leadership" is not filling a FOIA request for how many EB3-I cases pending till date. Infact they should ask numbers for all the categories and their priority dates. It should be simple SQL query for USCIS.
This is such a burning issue and so many people are suffering from it. I still don't get it why would IV is not raising this issue... Can some one from leadership group respond please.......

Hi Gurus,
My PD is Aug 2005 (EB2 India). Last year, during September - October my case was picked up and I think it is processed, but because of lack of visa numbers, the case was not approved. (I wrote a senator letter, he got back saying that the file is processed and waiting for visa numbers)
Now, I got 2 offers. First one is a fulltime position and 2nd one is a contract with a primary vendor (directly working on W2 using EAD). I haven't decided which one to join.
What are the options, I have? Do I need to file AC21? Since my file is already processed and waiting for the PD to become current, am I OK, even if I don�t apply for AC21? If I file AC21 and if the job descriptions are not matching or because of any other issues, if there is an RFE, I will be having some issues.
Gurus please let me know your thoughts.

HI!! I'm Aj ( more like Ahmet Jorayev). I was a student at the Georgia Military College. Unfortunately, due to lack of my personal funds, i lost my position of a student at GMC. Since January of this year i was not attending school because of exclusion. College informed of returning in Spring 2010 however they denied it later on. Currently I'm in deep depression because of losing my Academic and Immigration Status!!
IN order to reinstate I-20 visa i had to attend college. Sarcastic thing about this i had only 6month left to graduate.
Any advises or stories you can share please, help out!!
They have our future in their hands and instead of supporting,they disgrace us!!

The full text of the bill has yet to be made available to the public. As soon as the bill, S. 1092 is available, we will post the detail. Please stay tuned to this web site.

My wife has H1 approved. Currentlyy she is in India. Her H1B will start from October 1st. I had 2 questions:
1. For stamping does she have to wait till Oct 1st or she can go before also?
2. Based on question 1 if she can go before oct 1st and get visa, can she enter US before 1st october?

Well, if you leave your co. now and also want your GC then:
Your H1 period will be over after 6 years irrespective of the I-140 from the old co.
GC: You do have to start from scratch.
However, you can still maintain your PD if your prev. co does not revoke the I-140. The documentation of your Old PD is to be attached with the New I-140.

My I-485 receipt from USCIS does have my priority date listed. In fact, they even say on the receipt that the priority date listed might not reflect the oldest priority date that you might be eligible for.

depends on state law, WA state does not consider H4 as a resident, just found out a month ago, when my wife finished all the tests and everything else and found she had to pay non resident tuition. So she decided not to go to school. CA considers H4 as a resident provided all other criteria are met.

My Husband was a F1 international student and his F1 service had stopped by his school, but his Visa( China) was expires on July, 2009. Couple months ago, he and I gets married and he is ready for file the green card. But his grandfather is very sick now and he have to go back immedately; however, he didn't file anything at this time. If he having a emergry that need to go back on June , what he can do now? And is he able to come back to US?

My friend's 485 is pending with CIS and he is working on EAD. He currently does not hold any other visa. In fact his last H1 expired more than a year ago. We recently tried to renew his EAD online on USCIS website. However, we were stumped by a question which asks the applicant about his/her current immigration status in US. It was a drop down box and had many options like H1, L1 etc, but there was no option for somebody like him whose current status is just "AOS pending".
How do we get around this? Do you think it is best to apply on paper?

A friend of mine was recently stuck in administrative processing from November till March 13th (he was informed about the approval on March 18th) a total timeframe of 5 months. He reached the US on March 22nd and was admitted on H1 without any issues.
He sent me the following facebook link which list at least 200 such cases of similar souls.
"Here is a link to Facebook group on visa delay the kind I had. There is a spreadsheet which lists a sample of 200 cases since Nov.

Please be aware of it."
